Artist Bio

Angi Laframboise is a self-taught artist. As a young child, much of her time was spent drawing and sculpting people and animals. 

In 1995, with the encouragement of her husband (also an artist), Angi finally pursued a career as a professional portrait artist. She began selling charcoal, and later pastel, oil, and acrylic portraits through local shops and through her website. Over the years, her recognition as a portrait and fine art print artist has grown, with collectors now reaching as far as Europe, Australia, and Asia.

In 2001, Angi began working on a completely different type of project - her  new cartoon line, currently including general funny dog cartoons, breed-specific dog cartoons, cats, other animals, kids, and snowmen.

In order to focus on her family and projects, Angi is no longer taking commissions.
